This policy explains how GetMyAINews handles information when you read the news matrix, sign in, follow topics, submit questions or corrections, subscribe, or receive the daily email.
1. Who operates the service
GetMyAINews is operated by Hyper Photon, LLC, a limited liability company with a mailing address at 522 W Riverside Ave #8057, Spokane, WA 99201, United States ("GetMyAINews," "we," or "us"). Privacy requests: support@getmyaiphoto.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive and store your Google account identifier, verified email address, display name, profile image URL, account creation time, and last sign-in time. We verify the Google sign-in credential and use our own session cookie; we do not store the credential.
- Your settings: language, display preferences, selected companies, tracked topics, and whether you opted in to the daily email.
- Questions and corrections: the text you submit, the news item and date it concerns, timestamps, and the generated answer or correction. An authorized administrator can view account information, tracked topics, subscription status, and question history for service administration.
- Subscription records: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, and billing period dates. Payment card details are collected by Stripe and are not sent to or stored by this website.
- Service and analytics information: our hosting provider processes ordinary request and security information, which can include an IP address. We use a local country database to determine whether to show an analytics consent prompt; the IP address is not sent to a geolocation provider for this lookup. If analytics runs, Google Analytics receives pseudonymous identifiers and allowlisted usage events. We exclude email addresses, question text, custom topic names, and raw article URLs from those analytics events.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure sign-in, show your preferences and question history, enforce plan limits, answer questions and process corrections, send a daily digest when you enable it and have an active subscription, manage billing, understand site usage when analytics is enabled, and meet legal obligations.
Tracked topics are stored with your account and are also added to the shared news-collection search list. Topic phrases may therefore be sent to configured search or feed services (including Brave Search and Google News through rss2json) to find public articles. Your account email is not included in those search queries.
News classification and summaries use Google Gemini. The text and relevant article context of a question or correction may be sent to Gemini to classify and answer it; Google Search grounding is enabled for question answering in the current configuration. Do not include sensitive information in a question. The answer is generated automatically and may be wrong or incomplete.
4. Cookies and similar storage
The sign-in session uses an essential first-party cookie that lasts up to 30 days. The browser also stores your language choice and analytics preference in local storage. Google Analytics cookies are used when analytics is enabled. Depending on your approximate country, analytics is off until you opt in or is enabled by default; you can change the setting at any time using Legal → Cookie Notice → Settings in the footer. Details are in our Cookie Notice.
5. Service providers and sharing
We share information with service providers only as needed to run the service: Google (sign-in, cloud hosting/database, Gemini, Search grounding, and Google Analytics), Stripe (checkout and subscription management), and Resend (the daily email and delivery events). Configured search and feed services receive search terms or public-source requests as described above. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service or people, or as part of a business transfer. Public news links lead to third-party sites governed by their own policies.
6. Retention and deletion
Your account settings and question history remain in the service until your account or the relevant records are deleted. You can delete individual questions and their answers yourself from your question history in Settings. Before deleting your account, cancel every subscription in the Stripe billing portal. You may delete the account as soon as cancellation is scheduled for the end of the paid period; you need not wait until then. Account deletion closes open checkouts, removes the app account and its questions and answers, clears queued analytics events for that account, and removes stored email click-link mappings and identifiers. Paid access and future daily emails end when the account is deleted; deletion does not automatically issue a refund. An email already handed to the provider may still arrive. The app retains limited de-identified email-delivery records for duplicate-send prevention. Google, Stripe, Resend, and other providers may retain records under their own policies or legal obligations; app deletion does not erase their records.
Analytics queue records carry a 90-day expiry marker. News, hosting logs, provider records, and analytics already sent to Google have separate retention settings.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
You can change settings and tracked topics, turn off daily email in Settings, manage or cancel billing through Stripe, change analytics preferences with Legal → Cookie Notice → Settings in the footer, and delete your account in Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of personal information, to object to certain processing, or to complain to a privacy regulator. Contact support@getmyaiphoto.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law allows or requires it.
8. Children, security, and changes
The service is intended for users aged 16 and older and is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deleting the information where required. We use access controls and standard safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the date shown at the top of this page.
